Kaspersky, a global cybersecurity company, has achieved the top “AAA” rating in a new evaluation of enterprise detection and response (EDR) products from SE Labs, a top-rated independent testing company for security products and services.
In its report, SE Labs said that Kaspersky EDR “performed exceptionally well” across all of its tests, including detection, blocking, and response. As a result, the solution was awarded an ‘AAA’ rating – the highest possible rating.
“There are many different parts to a cyber attack, and it’s important to use them when assessing security products. They might miss one but catch another. In this case, Kaspersky EDR Expert caught them all, which is extremely impressive and reassuring,” said SE Labs CEO Simon Edwards.
SE Labs is a well-respected test organisation, and their rating of Kaspersky EDR Expert is a strong endorsement of the product. The report praised the product’s ability to detect and respond to sophisticated attacks and highlighted its user-friendly interface.
“As advanced cyber threats become more commonplace, businesses need to ensure they have efficient cybersecurity measures to keep them safe. Enterprise Advanced Security assessment of EDR products by SE Labs puts the available security offerings to the test against the full-chain attacks of several known APT groups to evaluate their quality. It uses an advanced scoring system to identify the best solution easily,” said Kaspersky head of threat research Alexander Liskin.
Kaspersky EDR is a comprehensive security solution that helps organisations detect, investigate, and respond to incidents. It uses a combination of machine learning and human expertise to provide users with the most advanced protection possible.
Receiving the highest possible receiving is a significant achievement for Kaspersky and cements its position as a leading player in the EDR market. The company’s commitment to developing innovative detection and response capabilities is paying off, and they are now being recognised as a top performer by independent testing organisations. Kaspersky’s rating also challenges other vendors in the market to up their game and provide similar levels of protection to their clients.
